TEREX construction products have been a strong influence in the construction industry over many years, once synonymous with efficiency and profitability in the earth moving and contracting sectors.
In earlier days Terex was well known for its dominance in the large earth scraper market, then in their production of off-highway dump trucks. In more recent times the compact machinery range emerged as terrific value to contractors in the construction industry.
Terex is now a spent force in the construction industry, having divested most of its business units in this sector, and now concentrating on the crane and materials handling side of the business. Scraper production ceased around 2009. Terex Trucks is now owned by Volvo, and the Terex RDT’s are slated to end production for good in 2018, moving out to make room for a redesigned Volvo substitute.
Compact excavators and wheel loaders has been sold to Yanmar, and no longer produced under the Terex brand.
Our range still includes the ever popular Posi-Track tracked loaders which has now reverted to the ASV brand.
We have a good selection of used equipment which usually includes second hand Bobcat skid-steers, and sometimes Mustang, Dingo, CAT and other brands traded for new Terex skidsteers. Our used excavator stock also often includes Sumitomo, Hyundai, Kato, Hitachi, Kobelco, Yanmar and Doosan machines.
