A Brief History

Back in 2004, AdvanceQuip was just a small regional distributor of used trucks and machinery. But even in those early days, we had a vision: to become the go-to source for heavy equipment in New Zealand. And that’s exactly what we did.

As we developed a focus on the construction and contracting industries, our reputation quickly spread across the country. Before we knew it, we had taken on a range of new product franchises and experienced substantial growth, becoming a major player in the national market.

Along the way, we also spawned two complementary businesses – Gore Machine Hire and Earthworm Attachments – which continue to operate successfully as separate entities under the AdvanceQuip banner.

Today, we’re proud to be a family-owned company with a deep commitment to honesty, loyalty, and going the extra mile to make sure our customers are satisfied. We may have started small, but we’ve come a long way – and we’re just getting started.
