Over the past few months, we have been working on a significant decision for our company’s future. Today, we can announce that AdvanceQuip has entered into an unconditional agreement with MIMICO for the acquisition of AdvanceQuip’s Construction Equipment Sales & Support business. This includes the CASE CE, ASV and ASTRA brands, but does not include the Gore Machine Hire and Earthworm Attachments businesses, which will continue under the ownership of the McLean Family.

This strategic move is a positive step forward for both AdvanceQuip and MIMICO, aimed at fortifying the footprint and support network for the CASE CE, ASV and ASTRA Brands in New Zealand.

In line with this transition, MIMICO will acquire the distribution rights, stock, and select assets from AdvanceQuip for these three brands. A significant number of AdvanceQuip staff will also be integrated into the MIMICO Branches across Auckland, Matamata, Paraparaumu, and Christchurch, to ensure continued exceptional support for our valued customer base.

MIMICO will also be acquiring AdvanceQuip’s existing Gore Facility and support staff, with the intent of continuing to provide the Otago/Southland Region with the same level of local service they have enjoyed to date.

While we are excited at the possibilities that this new development brings, we understand the importance of a seamless transition for the customer base and are working very hard to make this a positive experience for all stakeholders.
The expected settlement date for this deal is the 24th November, 2023.
